Dead Man’s Draw is a fast-paced first-person shooter where death isn’t failure, it’s your only path forward.

You play as Jebediah Cross, a gunslinger cursed to ride forever in the Underwest, a desert purgatory where the dead duel for eternity. Stripped of your mortality, you’ve stolen Death’s own scythe and gained a terrible gift: each time you fall, you rise again in a state between life and death.

In this death state, you move faster, leap higher, and cannot be harmed... but you cannot kill. To extend your borrowed time, you must slay enemies while alive, harvesting their soul essence to fuel your next return to the grave. Run out, and you’ll be dragged back to your corpse, forced to fight again.

Only by mastering death itself can you cut through the witch’s gauntlet and reclaim your soul.

Key Features

Death as Progression – You can only complete levels while in your death state. Life is preparation, death is opportunity.

The Death State – Gain triple jump, boosted speed, and invulnerability while dead, but you can’t kill. Manage your soul essence to stay in the fight.

Soul Essence System – Slay enemies while alive to extend your death state timer. The more you reap, the longer you ride the line between life and death.

Deals with Death – Unlock new abilities at the end of each trial, customizing your movement with choices like dash, double jump, or slide.
